RefrACTionART was invited to participate to the ECOPHILIA NOW festival organized by PartSuspended art collective, 19-20 October 2024, at Plyfa, Athens, Greece.

The ECOPHILIA NOW festival brings together over 20 diverse participants, including performers, musicians, choreographers, visual artists, activists, environmentalists, and poets from across Europe. With representatives from countries such as Greece, Hungary, Spain, Italy, Belgium, France, Romania, Ukraine and Denmark, the festival is international in scope.

The festival’s concept is “ecophilia” — a deep love for Earth and nature.

Our participation:

• the installation “Water Carrot with coordinates 37°51’26.7″N 23°38’37.4″E”
• a workshop on trash art, “Water Carrot with coordinates 37°51’26.7″N 23°38’37.4″E. An artistic perspective on the environment”
• A performance “ἔρρωσο γᾶ” (translation: be well, earth). A combination of video art, sound and physical theater.
